Above is the link to my Figma work. For the high-fidelity pages, please navigate to ’04_Wireframes’. For the animations and navigations, please go to ’05_Prototypes’ and then select the play button in the right corner to see how the navigations take you page to page.

For the high-fidelity stage of my app prototype, I used Figma to develop my original wireframes into a more realistic and interactive mobile design. The aim of the prototype was to show clearly how the app would look, feel, and function for users attending a music festival. I focused on creating a clean and easy to use interface that would appeal to a mainstream audience while also improving convenience during the festival experience.

The main screens I designed included a landing page, ticket page, interactive map, schedule page, artist information page, and live stream section. I used a consistent colour scheme, typography, and icon style throughout the prototype to create a professional and recognisable identity for the app. I also included navigation elements at the bottom and top section of the screen to make moving between pages simple and familiar for users and accessible from every page on the app. This improves usability because users can quickly access important information or their schedule without needing to search through multiple menus.

My design choices were influenced by my earlier research into festival apps and user expectations. I found that users value quick access to schedules, tickets, reminders, and maps, especially in crowded environments where mobile signal may be limited. Because of this, I designed the app so that key information could be viewed clearly and efficiently. I also considered accessibility by using readable font sizes, simple layouts, and clear buttons to make the app easy to navigate for a wide audience.

Figma helped support both usability and functionality during the design process. I used components, frames, and prototyping tools to create consistent layouts and interactive transitions between screens. This allowed me to test how users would move through the app and helped me identify areas where navigation could be improved. Overall, the final prototype successfully demonstrates the intended user experience and provides a realistic representation of the finished festival app.
