The design process for this app focused on creating a simple, user-friendly, and accessible experience for the target audience. Research carried out during the planning stage influenced many of the design decisions, particularly the importance of clear navigation and an organised layout. The aim was to ensure that users could complete tasks quickly and easily without confusion. To support this, the app uses a clean structure with clear headings, recognisable icons, and consistent page layouts throughout the design.

The wireframes were created in Figma to help plan the positioning of key features before developing the final interface. Low-fidelity wireframes were chosen because they allow ideas to be tested quickly without focusing on colours or detailed visual design too early in the process. The layout prioritises important content by placing navigation tools and key actions in easily accessible areas of the screen. A bottom navigation bar was included because it is commonly used in mobile applications and allows users to move between pages efficiently. User journeys were also developed to map how users would complete core tasks within the app, helping identify any unnecessary steps or possible usability issues.

One strength of the design is its simplicity and accessibility. The structure is easy to follow, which improves the overall user experience and reduces the likelihood of users becoming frustrated or lost within the app. Additionally, the design process included brainstorming and experimentation with different layouts before selecting the final wireframes, showing development and refinement of ideas. However, the current wireframes are still basic and may need further improvements during later stages of development.
